When I think of the Design Build Experience, I have a few preconceived thoughts. One thought is about the type of people that would be on this team or in this group. Being through the architecture college, you some people would think of this group being a bunch of nerdy students with no life, however I am in the architecture program, although not part of this group and did not even know that it existed, i could tell you that my thought are alot different form other peoples. I first think of a general team or group being mostly second or third year student and not having much to do with upper class men or graduate students. They probably are not the normal "nerds" that everyone thinks of but are non the less the type that would have glasses and most likely not sports enthusiasts. Although this probably is not true when thinking of a group such as this I think of the people that win the science fair and are the big school people, in all the clubs and have no social life other then the activities they experience through it.
Although i say this about them, it very much sounds like something that i would be interested in. I was not into science fair or any school clubs other then sports in high school so I already have completely destroyed my first preconceived notions about this group. I love to design and build things and love to plan them out, hence why i am in the architecture program. It is extremely weird how we look at a situation and say "man I wish I was in that" but yet the people that are in it are the people that we do not want to be associated with.
