The people in the architecture department, or archies are known for there devotion. Always in studio the architecture building has become to be known as the bat cave where all the archies live. Although we do spend quit a bit of time in studio we do not live there and only the people that procrastinate are the ones constantly pulling the all nighters. Be a program of such high caliber as Ball State's, the students here are very hard working and loyal. Since we are all always working on projects very diligently, we get to know each other very well eventually getting to the point where class mates turn into family in which not seeing almost seems like a crime. Being college students we all are poor, or very low on money, so we learn to be creative not only in our work but in the materials we use to do the work. After awhile professors perfection expectations get to us so we do projects over and over meaning we need a lot of cheap material so we get even more creative and share ideas making us all even closer. In the end after all the projects are done and we are all sleep deprived and laughing from stupid jokes that are only funny because of the amount of sleep we've had, we have made tons of friends and had the best times of our lives, besides who else can say they hangout in the bat cave
