From what I have read about most of the programs around the nation, I believe that most of the programs would be a lot different then Ball States. Ball State has a very distinct program and atmosphere for the architecture subculture. They are very unique in how they interact with one another and how the professors interact with the students. Several programs across the nation have certain attributes that are similar to Ball States however no two programs are entirely alike. Ball State’s program requires that the professors and students have a very special relationship, after awhile they become like family and develop a special bond. This is not just between the students but also the students and teachers. The students also seem to be some of the hardest working students on campus and you do not see that at many campuses across the nation.

You're very right in saying that Ball State's architecture majors are hard-workers! I only know a few people that are majoring in that but I know that they are also busy with a new assignment or project. That's pretty cool that you think Ball State's architecture program is unique compared to others because of how the students and professors interact with each other. I think it's really important to have a decent relationship with professors to do well. It sounds like you know a good amount about other universities so you're on the right track!
